Beyond the classroom, our students are engaged in a wide variety of school-sponsored activities.
Our academic program is further enriched by extracurricular programs and experiences.
Our school band and choir are open to students in grades 4-8. We host annual winter and spring performances for students to showcase their learning and talents. Students practice after school throughout the year. Sign-ups for these programs are available at the beginning of the school year.
Social Responsibility is an important part of character education and a value at our school. We engage students in special activites such as working with the Blue Stars Mothers of America Club to create care packages for our troops deployed overseas.
Field trips offer a chance for students to learn outside the classroom. Our students go on teacher-guided excursions each year such as the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Additionally we bring performing groups to the school to expose students to new and diverse cultural or educational experiences.
Northwest Academy students beat the summer brain drain with free summer school and summer camp. These optional programs are available for five weeks each summer. Learn more about our Summer Camp and Summer School programs by clicking on the appropriate link. To enroll in our summer program, download our Summer Program Enrollment Packet and submit to our school office.
